    I haven’t made this yet and I have a question. Why don’t the pictures of your zucchini look watery? How did you avoid that?

    • Hi Beth! Yes, zucchini is definitely watery when cooked. So honestly… I waited until my casserole cooled then took the photos. I wanted it to stay stacked and not be runny! I wanted all of you to be able to see the different layers.
      However, that being said; I have had some success with it being a bit less watery when I let it sit on paper towels after I slice it for a while to dry out before I layer it and cook it.
