Spinach and Feta Turkey Burgers!
By: Kecia’s Flavor Breakthrough!
I had to have feta this past weekend at the store! I adore it. I had some on a salad the other night, delicious! I like to put it in rice. But, I have been kind of craving a nice juicy burger. I think I have mentioned I am trying to eat a little healthier so I thought when I grill a nice big burger for my Honey I would do a turkey burger for me. This one will also incorporate some healthy veggies in it, too!
- 1 Pound Ground Turkey Breast (substitute Chicken or beef if you prefer)
- ½ Cup Fat Free Feta
- ½ Cup Baby Spinach, Julienned
- 1 Tbsp. Greek Seasoning (the one I use is salt free)
- 1 Tsp. Kosher Salt
- 4 Whole Wheat Buns
- Romaine Leaves
- Tomato Slices
- Red Onion Slices
- 4 Tbsp. Greek Dill Yogurt Dressing or Tzatziki Sauce
Preheat Grill to Medium
Mix the ground turkey breast, feta, baby spinach, Greek seasoning and salt together and form into patties.
Place patties on grill. Cook 6 minutes, flip and repeat. Check temperature, should be 165°F. If not, flip and cook an additional 2 minutes. Repeat until done.
Place a patty on each bun.
Top with the lettuce, tomato, onion. Drizzle with the dressing and serve.
