Milk Chocolate Almond Bark!
By: Kecia’s Flavor Breakthrough!
I love chocolate and almonds together. I have been wanting to make some holiday candy and I like the simplicity of barks so I thought this would be a great start! I went to the store to pick out the ingredients for it and ended up coming home with a huge bag full of candy and sweets to make more of these wonderful things! This one was the starter though! I am going to make it pretty and holiday looking, but really you could make this any time of year and just make it plain or decorate it for different seasons!
- 2 bags of milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup almonds chopped
- Colored candy sprinkles
- Parchment paper
In a double boiler or microwave melt chocolate until smooth.
While melting chop your almonds.
Lay parchment out on flat surface. Pour melted chocolate onto center of parchment and spread evenly with spatula. Shape doesn’t matter; you will be breaking it into pieces.
Sprinkle with the almonds and candy sprinkles.
Let cool completely and then break apart. Store in a cool place.
