Haricots Petite Carottes et des herbes de Province!

Now… doesn’t that sound fancy? Don’t let it intimidate you, I was just having fun! This couldn’t be simpler. I found this wonderful petite bean mixture in the frozen food section and thought the colors would just be a perfect complement to my new recipe of Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken Breasts and Lemon Herbed Couscous. But this could be served with any meat entrée, really. If you can’t find the petite bean blend, just use some frozen green beans and petite carrots!

Serves 4



  • 1 package frozen Hanover Petite Bean Blend
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • Juice from ½ a lemon
  • 1 tsp. Herbs de Province
  • Kosher salt and black pepper to taste


Place bean blend in a pan with a lid.

Butter and Herbs

Cover and cook beans in water over medium heat until tender crisp. Drain in colander, return to pan and add remaining ingredients. Toss to coat and pour into a nice bowl. Serve hot.
