Grilled Sirloin Beef Tip Steaks!
By: Kecia’s Flavor Breakthrough!
I have this wonderful sirloin tip thawed in the fridge, but oh… I want a steak on the grill! I know, I will cut it into steaks, marinate it and grill it! Serve it up with a nice salad, maybe some rice! Oh yes! And if there are leftovers I have the perfect idea for tomorrow night’s dinner!
Serves 4 plus
- 1 sirloin tip roast
- ½ cup olive oil
- ½ cup dry red wine
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp. fresh thyme minced
- 2 tbsp. fresh oregano minced
- 2 tbsp. fresh rosemary minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat grill to medium high heat
Slice roast into 1 ½ inch thick portions cross grain. Place in shallow dish. Mix together olive oil, wine, garlic, thyme, oregano, rosemary, salt and pepper. Pour marinade over steaks and let sit for at least one half hour.
Place steaks on grill and grill for 6 minutes on first side, flip and repeat.
Remove from grill, cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes.
Serve hot with and nice salad and a side of baked potato or Beefy Onion Rice!
