1 loaf of crusty French bread
3 Tbls olive oil divided
1 tsp. sugar
1 whole sweet onion julienned
1 cup Alfredo Sauce
1 cup of fresh spinach julienned
1 cup left over cooked chicken
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or Italian cheese blend
1 tsp Italian season blend
This pizza went in my Honey's lunch cold the next day! He said it was delicious left over! The combination of the flavors is amazing, I think you will love it!
Preheat oven to 350 F.
In skillet heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat add onion and cook, stirring often so not to burn onion, when it becomes soft and translucent sprinkle a teaspoon of sugar over the onion
This will help it start to brown a little, continue cooking and stirring the onion until it becomes a caramel brown color. If your pan starts to dry out you can add a little water to keep it moist and keep onion from burning. This will take awhile, but it is worth the effort it gives the pizza a great flavor!

The rest is easy!
Cut loaf of bread in half, lengthwise. Brush with the rest of the olive oil and place into oven for about 5 minute or until it is starting to brown. Remove from oven and spread the sauce over the two halves of pizza layer the onion, chicken.
Now the spinach and cheese over the top.
Sprinkle both sides of the pizza with the Italian seasoning, you can adjust more or less to your taste. Place pizza in oven and bake for 7 – 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven and let cool just a couple minutes before you cut it. I usually try to cut 6 slices each half. Yummy!
