White Chocolate Peppermint Bark!
By: Kecia’s Flavor Breakthrough!
One of the ideas that popped into my head for a great bark while shopping was this one. I thought it would be so pretty and festive, yet so easy and a wonderful combination to make a little homemade gift idea. I like white chocolate, but don’t eat it as often as dark or milk. It used to be my favorite as a kid. I think this will be one of those recipes that will make me reminiscent of the past and Christmas with my family. I know one of my favorite things was my mom’s treats she would make. I don’t have the time or the patience to do as she did, but I remember how much I loved watching her make them, helping her and then eating them all up!
- 2 bags white chocolate chips
- 10 candy canes, crushed
- Parchment Paper
In a double boiler or microwave melt chocolate until smooth.
While melting crush your candy. Lay parchment out on flat surface. Pour melted chocolate onto center of parchment and spread evenly with spatula. Shape doesn’t matter; you will be breaking it into pieces. Sprinkle candy over the top.
Let cool completely and break into pieces. Store in a cool place.
