Teriyaki Sausage Kabobs!

I was at the store getting groceries this weekend when I happened on a new sausage… Jack Links Teriyaki Sausage. Oh boy! What a fantastic idea went through my head! To put it on skewers with veggies and pineapple Oh yes!!!

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 Package Jack Link’s Teriyaki Sausage, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 sweet onions, cut into large chunks
  • 1 cup Teriyaki Sauce
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp. crushed ginger paste

If using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for about an hour.

Combine all ingredients except the sausage in a plastic zip bag, shake thoroughly to combine. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat grill to medium heat. Place chunks of all ingredients on skewers that have been soaked in water.

Set skewers on grill. Grill for about 10 – 15 minutes turning every few minutes. Serve hot with a side of Garlic Ginger Rice!

** check the saltiness of kabobs before adding salt or soy sauce to your plate. I felt they did not need anymore.
