Mushroom Swiss Burger!
By: Kecia’s Flavor Breakthrough!
These are totally for my husband! Totally. He is the only one here this evening that likes mushrooms, so he will be eating a lot of them on the side, too! He will love these! I am writing the recipe to serve 4, but I am going to only make one.
- 1 pound ground beef
- Nature’s Seasons to taste
- 1 8 oz. package sliced mushrooms
- 1 tbsp. butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsps. Dried parsley flakes
- 8 slices of Swiss cheese
- 4 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 Tsps. Tarragon
- 4 Brioche Buns
Pre-heat grill to medium temperature.
Divide the ground beef into four portions and form patties. Sprinkle generously with the Nature’s Seasons on both sides. (Now you know my secret ingredient to almost all of my burgers) Place burgers on grill. Melt butter over medium heat in a skillet. Add the mushrooms and cook until softened. About ten minutes, stirring often. Add salt and pepper to taste along with the parsley. After five minutes on the grill, flip the burgers. Continue to cook an additional 5 minutes. Flip again and go for another 2 minutes (depending on how done you like them) We like them medium well. Flip again and add 2 slices of the Swiss cheese to each burger. Cook until melted. Remove from grill. Mix together the tarragon and mayo. Spread over the buns, top and bottom. Place a burger on each of the buns. Top with a generous portion of the mushrooms and top. Serve immediately.
