Hot Italian Sausage Dip!

This dip was a product of an old recipe that my mom used to make. She used the Rotel tomatoes, cream cheese and breakfast sausage. It was so good! I was cooking Italian sausage for one of my pizza recipes the other night and I didn’t need to use it all so I thought, what can I make with the rest of this sausage?? Well I have been trying to get a few appetizer ideas on the site and all of these dips have just been popping into my head. So I thought of this! It is so easy, yet so good!

Serves a crowd

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Italian Sausage, browned and drained
  • 1 brick cream cheese
  • 1 can Italian Herb Diced tomatoes
  • 1 baguette bread, sliced (or Italian bread cut up)

All in

In a sauce pan over medium heat, combine all ingredients. Stir often until cream cheese is completely melted.

Hot Italian Sausage Dip!

Serve hot with bread for dipping.

    I SAW THIS AND RIGHT AWAY WANTED TO TRY IT! MY HUSBAND AND I LOVE ITALIAN SAUSAGE SANDWICHES, SO THIS IS A KILLER IDEA WHEN WE JUST WANT TO “SIT -N- DIP”. I’M GOING TO ADD CHOPPED BELL PEPPERS AND ONIONS TOO, BECAUSE WHAT IS A HOT ITALIAN SAUSAGE SANDWICH WITHOUT THOSE?
