Ginger Garlic Rice!

A side to go with teriyaki chicken on the grill is what inspired this dish. I wanted rice to go with it, but I know my Honey wouldn’t like just plain rice. So…
This rice turned out so wonderfully! Subtle flavor that will enhance any Asian inspired dish!
Serves 4 – 6
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tsp. ginger paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. chopped chives for flavor and color
Place everything except chives into stock pot. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
Remove from heat and stir in chopped chives. Cover and let rest for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve hot.
