Chicken Bacon Burgers On Brioche!
By: Kecia’s Flavor Breakthrough!
I think we all know how much I adore Aldi! Thank you Honey for showing me my new favorite grocery store! Anyhow, I think I have told you all about “Special Buys”? Just love them! It is where they have special items once or twice a year, so not stocked every day. So one of the the Special Buys this week was Brioche buns! Love them!! I bought the buns before I decided what to put in them! So I thought and thought. My Honey has been asking me to make burgers a lot lately so I pulled some of his hamburger patties out of the freezer to make for him. But my son and I? We are going for some ground chicken instead tonight!
- 1 pound ground chicken (you can use beef or turkey if you prefer)
- 4 slices low fat sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 brioche buns
- 4 tbsp. Garlic aioli
- 8 slices center cut bacon or turkey bacon cooked crisp
- 8 red onion rings
- 4 leaves of green leaf lettuce
- 4 tomato slices
Heat grill to medium heat.
Form the ground chicken into four patties. Place patties on the grill and cook 5 minutes, flip and repeat. Flip again and cook an additional 2 minutes. Flip and place slice of cheese on each patty. Cook until melted.
Spread some of the aioli on each of the buns.
Place patty on bottom half of the bun.
Top with two slices of the bacon, two rings of onion, a lettuce leaf
and a tomato.
Finally put that top half on and enjoy!
